Our little gymnast is moving up in the world. She has moved up to the turbo tumblers!!! That is a class for the 5-6 year olds. Monday was her first class with her new teacher and new friends. It was fun to watch her perform so well and I was thrilled when her teacher came and found me after class and told me how well she had done. Olympics here we come!!!

Christmas!!!!
This year Christmas seems to have flown by. I feel like I never even got to enjoy the Christmas season this year. It was one thing right after the other. But in the end we had a good Christmas. This year our friend Mary spent Christmas with us. She and the girls made these really cute reindeer that held reindeer food. It was funny to watch how the girls opened their gifts this year. Piper would slowly open them one by one and say something nice about each gift while Charleigh tore thru them. I can only guess that because Charleigh is such a pro at it. Needless to say it took forever for Piper to open her gifts. But it was nice to know that she loved everything she got.
Dennis made these. Didn't he do a wonderful job!!!! Please ignore the messy table. Apparently nobody told Dennis you don't take those kinds of pictures when people can see the mess.
So we got snow on Christmas night and the following day. This is a picture on the 3rd day after the winds came. Needless to say we didn't go anywhere for a few days.

Charleigh's project.
This year Charleigh has had a few projects that she has done for school. I have been irritated because the teacher has yet to give us grades for any of them. Anyway this project is supposed to be an ornament about an American person but low and behold Charleigh brought home a book about Marie Antoinette. Really?! Anyway so this is the ornament she made to go with her book report.
Marie really liked horses so that is why we have a girl riding a horse.

Birthday time!!
I really can not believe that Piper is 4 years old. She has grown into such a beautiful girl. This year Piper has been busy trying to learn her numbers, alphabet, shapes, colors, and her favorite thing of all gymnastics. She is so super good at all those things. For her birthday this year she wanted a spongebob barbie party. It was kind of interesting. We had two different parties because it is very overwhelming to have 5 or 6 4 year olds running around. One of the things we did for the kids party is decorate frames and then take pictures of the kids in barbie and ken cut outs. It was lot of fun. I think we had more fun with it then the kids did.

New York City
This year as a 4th grade field trip they decided to go to NYC to see the Lion King. Can I just say that is the most amazing show. It is almost to much to taken in. I was so visually stimulating!!! I would gladly pay the $145 to go and see it again. My friend told Charleigh that she would do her hair for the trip. Mary stayed tuesday night and got up at 4:30 to do her hair.

Charleigh looked super cute and got tons of compliments on how pretty she looked. Sadly this is the only picture I have because like an idiot I left my camera at home. While we were there we went to the most awesome Disney store I have ever been to. It was really neat to be on time square and to see all the neat shops they have. I would so love to go again and just hang out. But that trip will have to wait for a girls trip.

I know it has been forever!!! Thanksgiving!
This year we kind of had two thanksgivings one at home with my friend Mary and the other at the in-laws on Friday. Mike couldn't make it back until friday. So anyway it was nice to hang around the house on thanksgiving and play and watch football. I know it is strange that I actually watched football but what can I say it is an American tradition. Anyway while we were waiting for our yummy turkey to cook the girls, Mary and I decided to color. Here are our masterpieces.
